Thermally enhanced Majorana-mediated spin transport in the Kitaev model

We study how stable the Majorana-mediated spin transport in a quantum Kitaev model is against thermal fluctuations. Using time-dependent pure state method, we examine finite-temperature dynamics model. The exhibits two characteristic temperatures $T_L$ and $T_H$, which correspond to energy scales of local flux itinerant Majorana fermion, respectively. At low $(T\ll T_L)$, an almost flux-free realized excitation propagates similar way that for ground state. Namely, after magnetic pulse introduced at one edges, fermions propagate excitations even through liquid region, oscillations moment appear other edge with tiny field. When $T\sim T_L$, larger moments are induced edge, compared results higher temperatures, excited $Z_2$ fluxes disturb coherent motion fermions, suppresses propagation. Our demonstrate crucial role fluctuations transport.
